RouteMarrakesh → Marrakesh

Everyone crosses the Atlas on the Tichka. Far fewer take the Tizi n'Test, a narrow, breathtaking road that climbs to over 2,000 metres through the heart of the High Atlas and drops down to the Souss plain. Combined with walled Taroudant and the Atlantic breeze of Essaouira, it makes an unforgettable three-day loop.

Good to know: This region was affected by the 2023 earthquake. Some villages and monuments, including the historic Tin Mal mosque, are still being restored. We check road conditions and access before every trip, and visiting supports the recovery of local communities.
